Ok, I just had a mild disagreement with my wife about a wagon. I was perusing eBay Motors, as one does, and came across a beautiful 1971 Ford Country Squire wagon. It had it's engine replaced and had some Magnum 500 wheels but was otherwise pretty original. If you don't count the CB radio. I told her I had found my next car. She asked where I was going to find my next wife. We may need some couples counseling.

I believe they only ever made two. And one of them is this one. It's located in Britain, or at least was until it was sold at auction for what I think was around $13,000. The other (blue) one was in the Saab Museum. So, sorry, but you can't own one. Ever. I've been cutting myself ever since I found out how unattainable one of these is.

My dad had one (a 325i) as a company car when he worked for a BMW garage at the end of the 1980s. No car has done his licence so much harm before or since.
There's not much load space but, frankly, back then it didn't seem to matter in the same way. It was also a mit wider than the standard E30, so it was a bit ore stable on the road at high speed. Or so Dad says...
